Spark Social was established in November 2024 as an innovative investing ecosystem uniting purpose, capital, and wealth for a better tomorrow. By integrating forward-thinking technology with a deep commitment to social good, Spark Social transforms how individuals and organizations engage with society—driving sustainable wellbeing, value creation, and wealth growth.

At first, Spark Social offered MySparkSocial, our first social value community platform focused on turning individual initiatives, engagement, and learning into measurable social value—laying the foundation for a new model of purpose-led living.

In December 2025, Spark Social introduced Spark Impact as its dedicated governance and impact advisory-led investing extension. Spark Impact brings the mission of Spark Social into the institutional arena—partnering with family offices, corporations, wealth managers, and foundations to mobilize purpose-driven capital toward long-term, systemic impact. As an advisory-led investor, Spark Impact deploys catalytic capital into purpose-driven enterprises and applies its Purpose, Wellbeing & Resilience (PWR) framework and integrated GRC expertise to guide investment decisions, strengthen governance maturity, and prepare enterprises for sustainable growth. By activating capital with clarity, resilience, and integrity, Spark Impact reinforces the strategic, institutional dimension of the Spark Social ecosystem.

Looking ahead, Spark Village is set to launch in 2026. What we believe?

The history has witnessed many companies and individuals neglecting their social responsibility in pursuit of their own self-interest. Greedy is leading to damaged society. As a result, the corporate regulator has begun setting regulatory requirements for corporations to incorporate social consideration when formulating business strategies. It is also believed that social problems are closely related to all stakeholders in society, and even an individual or a small shop can have an impact on society.

Luke Cheng - Founder

Luke has over 20 years of working experience in the financial service sector, focusing on compliance and regulatory work, securities and futures markets, corporate finance, commodity, and wealth management. He started his career working at the Listing Division and Derivatives Product Development Division of HKEx. He progressively moved on to senior management in compliance departments of various banks and securities firms, including Prudential-Bache, HSBC, UBS, Natixis, and Standard Chartered Bank. With his extensive experience and knowledge in compliance, regulatory and financial markets, he is dedicated to providing comprehensive advice for clients and to promote the importance of ethical, compliance and sustainability in the financial sector.

In 2015, Luke started his own businesses being a corporate advisor for businesses and has been active in the start-up community in Hong Kong. He has expanded his consulting business to cover branding & digital creative, public relations and sustainability & communications. With blending his professional knowledge, he has provided valuable advices to businesses for growing and expansion. In July 2023, Luke set up Spark Social. 

Being a new start up business, Spark Social is an innovative platform for merging wealth and purpose for a better tomorrow that uses state-of-the-art technology with the pursuit of social good. It empowers both individuals and organizations to invest in and manage projects that deliver Social Value, promising growth and ensuring positive social wellbeing. With pressing concern about social matters, Luke believes Spark Social is the right business venture that will make real impact to our society.

Alfa MA - Chief Consultant

Alfa has been in the financial and fintech industry for over 15 years. She served as the general manager at GLS Technology where she led overseas business and completed the setup of JV with SOE to promote SMEs financing.

Prior  to  that,  she was  VP  in  Graphen AI looking  after  business  development  and worked  in  the  investment  and division  at  Dongxing  Securities, Securities and HSBC.

Lucas FONG - Chief Technology Officer

Lucas, an accomplished software engineer with  15+  years  of  experience,  is  a distinguished  CIP  alumnus  and  former mentor. Recognized   for   inventing   a visualized computer language, his startup was a TechCrunch Startup Battlefield top- 30 early stage start-up selection. As CEO of multiple   technology   startups,   he   has collaborated  with  venture  capital  firms,  a Hong  Kong-listed  company,  and  a  family office,  while  forging  partnerships  with leading   cryptocurrency   companies   to integrate tech with market insights.
